Fire engineering reports have AI now.

Guidex answers fire safety questions from the documents you are working to, and shows you the passage every answer came from. It does not guess, and when it cannot find the answer it says so.

General tools invent the shape of a citation

A general model has read thousands of clause references, so it knows their shape precisely: a number, a full stop, a table reference.

When an answer needs a reference and none is available, the shape gets filled anyway. Correctly formed, plausibly numbered, sitting next to the right subject, and not real. Nothing marks it as invented.

The risk is not the obviously wrong answer. It is the one that survives your read-through.

The answer is drafted only from what was found

The question finds the relevant passages first. Those passages are read in stages, so tables keep their notes and clauses keep what they depend on.

Only then is the answer drafted, and a separate pass checks it back against the source before you see it.

The model supplies the reasoning. The documents supply the content.

Every claim is matched, or it is withheld

Each factual claim is checked against the passages that were retrieved. If it matches, it passes and carries its citation.

If it does not match, it does not go out. Not softened, not hedged. Withheld.

Traceable is a claim you can test. No hallucination is a claim you cannot.

What it does not do

Guidex finds and cites what the guidance says, so the engineering time goes on the judgement rather than the searching.

Guidex supports drafting and lookup. It does not perform the originator, check, review or approval functions.
